Over £30 million every week, on averageΔ. That’s what players like you give to National Lottery projects. That’s massive. Players help build local communities, power sports teams, save the environment, unleash creative talent, empower the elderly and unlock young potential. Each week 400 new projects are supported. You’re changing lives.

Every part of the UK gets reached, averaging 240 projects per postcode area. That’s over £46 billion, invested in the nation by 12 specialist organisations that ensure it goes exactly where it’s needed.

DASH Ceredigion are very pleased to have achieved a grant from the Postcode Community Trust, supported by players of the People’s Postcode Lottery. This grant will support a youth club service for disabled children in Ceredigion, promoting independence, socialisation, reducing isolation and having fun for young people.

Families First is designed to improve outcomes for children, young people and families. It places an emphasis on early intervention, prevention, and providing support for whole families, rather than individuals. The programme promotes greater multi-agency working to ensure families receive joined-up support when they need it. The intention of the programme is to provide early support for families with the aim of preventing problems escalating.
