Frendz – 12-25

A mobile youth club that goes out, each week, during term time.

Members are asked what they want to do. We can now take referrals online, via Tîm Plant Anabl, Tîm Teulu, Mentors, Young Carers, Inclusion officers, or any other agency in Ceredigion supporting young people.

When – Ceredigion school term time

Away Weekends – 8-18

Small groups (up to 6) of young people stay away for the weekend at the Ty Glyn Bungalow, Ciliau Aeron – a specially adapted bungalow with a sensory garden in the grounds. The DASH Away Weekends allow the young people to have a short break from their families whilst they get to hang out with friends and go on an outing. Their families also have a much needed break from their caring responsibilities.

When – Regular weekends during Ceredigion school term time

Ymuno

Ymuno provides support to access a local childcare club or playscheme. The schemes are registered with CIW and can be searched for via the Ceredigion Family Information Service. The leader of the scheme or club applies direct to DASH – we will give them a password and then they can apply and invoice online. The scheme pays towards the cost of an additional support worker if that is needed to make the scheme accessible for a disabled child. Most children accessing this scheme will have full 1-to-1 support. If less support is needed, support workers can be shared between two children – if the club leader feels that is appropriate.

When – During other mainstream afterschool and holiday playschemes.
